Fast, hot, & good. the spicy sausage links were VERY spicy. Christine's
Salad was fresh & crisp but could have used more "salad stuff." Pulled pork was tender & flavorful

I will order from Woody's again and again. The bbq sauce is excellent and
the chicken was moist and delicious. I suggest ordering the baked beans as well, they are exceptional. You will not be disappointed

Holy Smokes this place is good! Been going there for years... Great Sauce - Not the vinegar-kind, the Smoky,
Sweet Baby Ray (but better) kind...
The Pulled Pork is the best I've ever had.

One of the good things about being a carpenter/remodeler is that you get to eat everywhere and I remember Smokin Woodys from
before when Calvin used to run the joint. Yes he had a nice personality that customers really liked, the food was also good
back then. Unfortunately the last years when he spent most of his time at Calvins BBQ the quality at Woodys diminished (for
obvious reasons can`t let employees alone run your bussines).
Linving in such a small world I ended up
working with the crew that remodeled Woodys for the new owners and let me tell you!! I really regret having eaten there
before... the place was a mess, infested with roedent droppings especially in the kitchen area, grease build up and structural
damage to the building due to neglect of the premises.
Yes I agree that BBQ joints need character and some
people like dingy cheap nasty places to eat and if you are one of them this place is not for you. As far as I know Calvin
could not keep up with his low prices and eventually went out of bussines because of current costs of running a restaurant,
he also could not renew his licence becuase the health department would not let him.
I've been remodeling
a home in the area for the last few months and I`m now eating there very often. The food is really good, nice portions and
really good sides! I recommend the pork loin, sweet potato fries, smoked chicken wings, ribs and home-made chilli, the
cheescake is fantastic and they are BYOB wich helps in this economy. The owners are always present and that translates into
the great quality and service you are paying for, as long as I`m working in the area I`ll be heading to Woodys for really
good food in an open and clean enviroment, to the new owners: Congratulations and keep up the good work guys!!

There's not much for me to eat here besides sides (which were all great) and the ubiquitous veggie "burger,"
but my carnivorous friends really liked their sandwiches. The portions were huge and the service was very friendly, so I gave
them an extra star. We didn't know the previous owners, so I can only comment on the current menu.

Couldn't have been better. They called to let us know they were out of the
Butternut Squash soup, but when the order came, there was the soup, tasty as ever.

Our new Metromix listing
This North Center BYOB serves traditional barbecue, including ribs, rib tips and pulled pork, in what was once
a Lincoln Avenue cobbler's shop. These days, you can expect an open kitchen, bright yellow walls hung
with work from local artists, and checked tablecloths on the tables. In warmer months, the back patio nearly
doubles the size of the place. The current operators use Michael "Woody" Boucher's original recipes
for spice rub and sauce (Woody, who still runs his seasonal spot of the same name in Michigan, taught
them the ropes) and smoke their meats in-house. If you're tired of straight-up baby backs, try the center-cut pork loin
for a white-meat alternative. Smokin' Woody's also is the only spot in town to offer smoked sirloin instead of
the usual brisket.
